Für den guten Zweck mit der Vespa auf Spendentour Silver Gull 2 The Silver Seagull 2 found its way to me thanks to a recommendation from the president of the Lüneburg Vespa Club (Olaf Sander). Olaf told me that a Vespa, and the beautiful tours it offers, is a great alternative to motorcycling. After buying the Vespa GTS 300 Racing Sixties, my first big tour with Olaf was the trip to the Vespa Alp Days 2022 in Zell am See. The tour was entirely on roads, avoiding highways, and turned out to be a wonderful ride on the new Vespa. I discovered that even a good 1,200 km on the Vespa GTS is very relaxed and enjoyable. So, the replacement for the Silver Seagull 1 was found :-). Motivation The reason for my motivation The idea originated during the farewell tour of the Silver Gull 1. At that time, I decided to give up motorcycling (BMW R 1200 GS Adventure) and enjoyed a wonderful farewell tour to the Dolomites, Lake Garda, via Milan, into Switzerland, through the Allgäu region and eastern Germany, and back home. The idea came to me to raise some money for a good cause during the tour. Upon my return, I was able to donate €850 to the Sternenbrücke Children's Hospice in Hamburg. This desire to involve others in my projects through fundraising appeals somehow intensified. Since I didn't want to give up motorized two-wheelers entirely, the Vespa GTS 300 Racing Sixties (Silver Gull 2) entered my life and will accompany me on my future endeavors. At the same time, I lead a relatively secure and comfortable life and would like to contribute something positive to people in different circumstances, even if it's just a small gesture. Donations will be processed through a bank and a system specifically developed for this purpose, ensuring maximum transparency for donors regarding the whereabouts and use of their donations. I am currently preparing for this and hope to achieve the greatest possible trust and willingness to donate. From the starting point to the North Cape and back, supporting me should be easy and accessible to everyone interested. Every donation is appreciated and will be rewarded with an activity yet to be determined. I will proactively approach individuals and companies both during the planning phase and throughout the tour. It is crucial to understand that every cent donated or sponsored will be divided equally among five children's hospices; I will personally cover all other expenses. Current problems should also be mentioned. My current plans to allow companies and private individuals to act as potential donors or sponsors present some hurdles. Unfortunately, it's not so easy to accept donations and potentially forward them later to the hospices in Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden that are intended to benefit. As a private individual, I'm not permitted to issue donation receipts, which is why any financial support can only be officially recorded as a gift. However, this shouldn't be too much of a problem overall, and I'm already working to build the necessary trust. I'm currently in contact with various supporters and advisors and am happy to share their information here. Anyone with relevant expertise on this topic is warmly invited to support me. page title Gute Herz Nordkapp Heartfelt ideas for the project and the tour, along with heartfelt thoughts, are being put into action immediately. A heart, handcrafted by me personally and with family, will serve as a small token of gratitude for my donors. This is currently just a draft, which will be presented here in more detail later. Each heart will be numbered and may hold further small surprises in the future. Ultimately, they are intended to serve as a reminder of the tour and to bring a little joy. My sincerest thanks already go to Anika Tausch of ton.tanten - Ashausen. The initial inspection took place in my cozy little garden shed.
