The silbermoewe2 is actually a Vespa GTS 300 Racing Sixties. However, over the course of the project, it became more and more of an eye-catcher ;-) Well, if I want to use it to raise money for the children's hospice, it has to stand out somehow. If you see me somewhere, feel free to talk to me and I'll tell you about my project.

It's a topic many would prefer to avoid: children whose lives will be far too short. But contrary to popular belief, children's hospice care isn't primarily about dying. It's about life, laughter, and the precious moments that remain. Why do I invest my time? I've decided to dedicate my time and heart to this project because these families are often invisible. When a child is critically ill, the entire family's world collapses. In children's hospice care, we offer them relief, security, and a space for normalcy.
With my project silbermoewe2, I want to build a bridge. I want to pool resources and raise awareness for work that often happens quietly, but means the world to those affected. Time is the only currency you can't get back – that's why, for me, there's no more valuable way to invest it than in supporting these courageous children and their parents.

This was all only possible thanks to your continued fantastic generosity – for that, I want to say a heartfelt "thank you." Visiting the hospice was once again a wonderful experience and a great opportunity for me to directly support the amazing team and the children. Seeing where our help is making a difference is incredibly motivating. One thing is certain: the silbermoewe2 project will continue unabated for this worthy cause. I look forward to achieving even more together with you!

There are moments that show us how much we can achieve together. We are thrilled to announce that another €500 was donated to the Löwenherzen children's hospice support center in Lüneburg on March 11, 2026 ! This brings our total donations to an impressive €1,500. A huge thank you to everyone who supports us along the way. With the Silbermöwe2, we are now setting course for our next goal – because every contribution helps to give the children and their families a sense of security and support. An incredible story from the flower field: Throughout the year, not only beautiful blossoms accumulate in the fields of Wiegels Blumen GbR , but sometimes also foreign coins and banknotes. 🪙💸
Instead of letting them gather dust in a drawer, the team presented me with this "treasure." A coin dealer in Hamburg exchanged the money, and we ended up with a proud €375! But that wasn't all: Wiegels Blumen GbR spontaneously rounded the sum up to €500! ❤️ A huge thank you for this creative donation and your generosity. With this, you are making a valuable contribution to supporting children's hospice care.

On July 1, 2025, thanks to the fantastic generosity of donations, I was able to donate €500 to the Theodorus Children's Day Hospice in Hamburg-Eidelstedt for the third time. I was once again treated to a warm welcome by Isabell Koch, Public Relations, and many informative conversations. A very special young person greeted me with a loving smile at the donation handover. In the picture in the nursing chair, Masa sends her warm greetings to all donors and future donors. Her wish was to have a photo taken with the silver seagull 2.

Today, May 15, 2025, I, along with the silbermoewe2 and my faithful companion Maximilian, were honored to hand over the second donation of €500 to the Löwenherzen (Lionhearts) in Lüneburg. I am very grateful for your support and generous donations. It is a pleasure to announce that my project with the silbermoewe2 will continue. Together we will reach the planned €10,000.

I was invited by Bedo B. Kayaturan of Hamburg 1 Television to present my project. I was able to showcase the project on television in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Many thanks to Bedo and your team for the opportunity. My next goal is to be invited to NDR's Red Sofa someday—I firmly believe it will happen.

The silver gull2 is accompanied by Maximilian, the mascot of the children's hospices from the Lionhearts.
That sounds like a wonderful and inspiring journey! Maximilian the Lion will surely be a great companion as he travels by Vespa raising funds for children's hospices. It's lovely to hear that he'll be sharing interesting stories with Stephan, the pilot of the Silbermoewe 2. These experiences will not only enrich his journey but also raise awareness of the important work done by children's hospices. Wishing you much success and enjoyment on your adventures!
It's wonderful to know that a flag I received from the Theodorus Children's Day Hospice in Hamburg supports my mission. This flag will accompany me on my tours and represents the commitment and transparency in the work of children's hospices and the promotion of these services. Like Maximilian of the Lionhearts, the flag is a symbol for many important and significant issues that affect the lives of children in children's hospices and their families.
On January 20, 2025, I was able to hand over the first €500 in donations to Löwenherzen (Lionhearts) in Lüneburg. A very pleasant visit and great conversations with Silke Schippmann (right), Mareike Rösike, and Florian Borns enriched my handover. Maximilian the Lion will soon be accompanying me on my Vespa, rain or shine.
On December 19, 2024, I was able to include the Löwenherz children's hospice base in Lüneburg in my support project, as I unfortunately had to discontinue contact with Adreas Huss in Norway. Political reasons unfortunately made the opening of the completed children's hospice no longer possible.
For the €1,000 donation to the Dudenhofen children's hospice near Mannheim, I prepared a small Plexiglas container for the donation and a short video for you to confirm. I was a little excited, as it's always a wonderful opportunity to hand over your donations.
On December 6, 2024, I was able to visit the Sterntaler children's hospice in Dudenhofen near Mannheim again. During this visit, I was able to hand over €1,000 of your incredible donations. I received a very warm welcome from Anja Hermann, the hospice's managing director. I have thus been able to hand over a total of €1,500 in Dudenhofen so far. The wooden Vespa, a memento of my visit, will hopefully find a beautiful home in the hospice.

These bags, containing a delicious Duplo and information about my project, are stored in my Vespa and randomly distributed to interested individuals in the hope of receiving a donation.
Hearts of warmth
The "Hearts of Kindness" are limited to 100 pieces and have already been given to some donors. These hearts will accompany the project and beyond, and will hold special events and surprises. The hearts were handmade by a family member and donated to me.

On my trip to Sweden, I also had my appointment and first visit to the Nacka Children's Hospice. It was once again a great honor and pleasure for me to be able to support this hospice with your generous donations as part of my "Vespa to the North Cape" project. I hope to be able to make a second visit and deliver another €500 on my return journey from the North Cape.
